It's going to take alot of practice....

I'm going to start a poll, YOU GUYS BETTER VOTE ON IT.

I'm deciding wether i want guitar or drums so vote on it.

Got a reasonably important question here....

How is difficulty going to be accounted for? I mean, if the whole band goes easy, thats an easy 385-400 points.

It says that it will be accounted for in the "stage presence" part of the score.... but how will that exactly be integrated? I can see why the difficulty level is downplayed... given that its four people, with most likely varying skill sets. It would be nice to know a specific hard and fast criteria for it.

Lets hope that the band that does play on easy realize watching that can be as painful as watching a newbie play "I love rock and Roll" 8 times in a row...

The difficualty is not being downed played at all! But we wanted to bing in creative bands that put on a good show while allowing even social bands a chance to be competive. To expand on the "stage Presence" it will be based on score per person and that person getting points based on difficualty easy0- expert75 and style(25pts)of his/her score also there is 100pts for number of stars earned 1=0pts 5=100pts (to include overdrive etc. so if you play really really well on Med drums and ok hard well you will not hurt the bands as badlly and hopfully allow you to pic up extra pts on being a great dummer one hands stick tossing etc. I hope this helps...

Why does the date keep switching? First it was March 15th then the 16th and now it is March 1st. My band is from out of town and it makes it hard for us to book airfare. Also how many bands are signed up? On your website it only shows 1 band signed up so far.

Ok... makes more sense.

And the guest has a good point. When is it exactly... bumping things up tends to make things harder to arrange for.

I'm sorry for the confusion on the dates some of the forums would not let me change the dates I guess I need to on this one though. The offical date is March 15th!!!

And yes there is only one band offically signed up at this point... I hope to have many more soon the posters and flyers just came in from the printers and we are getting those up as we speak. So if any one knows of a good place to get flyers and or posters 11x17 up at let me know.

We put the info for the next band up on the site today - Erik, John, Beau and Rachel. If you count the band coming from Arizona, that makes 3 definites and a few more maybes. Oops, I forgot about Anna and Audrey - that's a definite I think, just down a few people for now. So 4 definite bands, many more maybes.

I'll be thinking of people for you Anna...

The band from Phoenix will not be making the trip. The other 3 guys backed out on me. You guys are going to have to take pics and post them. Have fun and keep up the good work!
